"With it's medieval beauty, (Bologna) has it all" Exploring Bologna

Bologna reminded me of Florence, but on steroids. It's huge, like Milan and Rome, and it has a magnificent history. I think going and wandering around the city without taking a tour would be a mistake. You will miss all the little spots in the city of hidden history that you would have no way of knowing!

This is not an advertisement: I personally went on a tour through GetYourGuide called "City Center Walking Tour" and really enjoyed my experience. But please make sure to do your research and make sure it's the right fit for you. Make sure your tour includes the Basilica di San Petronio. You must make sure you go in with your knees and shoulders covered. This is really where having a tour guide was really helpful to point out the little things you otherwise wouldn't have noticed.

I really enjoyed Bologna and would like to go back again in the future. So I'm sure there are more blog posts to come about this city!!
