"Vienna is a handsome, lively city" Exploring Vienna
Schonbrunn Palace
I got to go there for an Easter market but did not get to see the inside of the Palace. This was totally fine by me. I wish the seasonal allergies didn't hit me so hard because I could have spent all day walking the gardens.
Sigmund Freud Museum
Unsure if it was worth the cost of admission. Because Freud had to leave Vienna for London when Hitler annexed Austria, so much of his things got lost. You could read a book and it would be the same thing as going to the Freud museum.
Theater Museum
The theater museum would be a great visit for those interested in set and costume design!
Sisi Museum
If you've been to any royal palace like Versailles, then you've seen what there is to see in this museum. It was very pretty and interesting to learn about Sisi (Austria's equivalent of Princess Diana). But if you have been to other royal museums and aren't super into that, you can skip this one. If you do want to go, make sure to go right when it opens!
It was similar to the Start Your Visit Tour but tells different, interesting stories.
State Hall of the Austrian National Library
This was not worth the cost it was to get in and look around but the library was quite beautiful.
It was a good introduction tour to Vienna and provides information on other things to do on your trip.
This was a good companion tour to the Start Your Visit Tour. There's some overlap but very little.
This was a really interesting tour that had more of a focus on the history of religion in Vienna throughout the years, mainly Judaism. It showed different parts of Vienna which I really appreciated, but could also understand it not being everyones cup of tea.
