"There is no sincerer love, than the love of food." Eating in Glasgow
Muffin Break
Muffin Break is in the mall near where my Airbnb was. They had two different types of gluten free muffins. They broke apart pretty easily, but did the job for a morning breakfast.
Mono
It was a cute lunch place that mainly focuses on vegan options but does have a gluten free menu. The garlic break was really good!
Barolo
They also had a gluten free menu here. Had there lamb and tried panna cotta. It was all pretty decent.
Bar + Block Steakhouse
Had a good meal with a lot of fish! They have a binder to show you allergens in the meals. The wait staff was not especially wanting to be helpful, but we got there.
DiMaggio's
They have an allergen binder to go along with their menu. They have gluten free pasta options. Their gluten free pizza options are not safe for those with celiac.
Stack & Still
The gluten free pancakes tasted like real pancakes!!
The Willow Tea Rooms
A good cheap way to have the afternoon tea experience. If you get their "free from" menu, triple check you're getting something gluten free. It also provides you vegan and vegetarian options, which, as we know, does NOT mean gluten free. So make sure to look for the "gf" next to the items on the menu.
Amore Ristorante e Pizzeria
They have a gluten free menu with a lot of options!
Blue Lagoon Fish and Chips
It's really close to the train station in Glasgow. I got it delivered to my apartment for gluten free fish and chips. Just want to flag it could be because of all the grease, but my stomach did NOT respond well.
