"The thing is home feels good to leave and even better to come back" in Charlotte

I normally don't post photos of family members or friends without their consent. But this trip in Charlotte was so incredibly special because I got to start building my future with my grandmother by my side. My grandmother is my best friend. I rely on her probably too much. But we had a lot of fun touring a new city together. We tried amazing food and got to do our favorite activity together: touring houses.

Having this quality time together, getting to hear about things she feel are important in making a house a home, building a life, are the best memories I have in my life.

Every day, I strive to be more like my grandmother. I will never be like her, I have too aggressive of a personality for it. But I try to go about the world with more kindness and respect for others even if they operate differently than me. As much as I am enjoying my time traveling through Europe, I am counting down the days until I can move to Charlotte and be closer to her again.
