"Manchester the belly and guts of a Nation" Eating in Manchester

  • Love the staff here! I thoroughly enjoyed the gluten free pizza as well. Definitely recommend you check this place out!

  • Their set up was a bit confusing for me. You have to find your own table and order everything upfront (meal, drinks, desserts, etc). If you have an allergy make sure you go up to the bar and place your order since it can't be done through the QR code at the table. You'll need to remember your table number as well so they can bring your meal to you. If you're eating alone, hope no one steals your things as you're trying to hold your table while you go up and order your lunch or dinner. The staff wasn't super helpful in figuring out the lengthy process. Although the food was tasty, all the work you need to put in (especially when you have an allergy) did leave a bitter taste in my mouth.

  • It was a really good place to have breakfast at - so good I went there twice!

  • I went here twice. The first time I had soup as an appetizer with my meal. When I came back for a second time and ordered the same soup and meal they told me this time if I wanted the soup I had to sign a release form. The form essentially stated that the restaurant was not responsible if I got sick because of cross contamination. I mentioned I was a bit confused because this didn't happen the last time, but ultimately if I needed to sign a form I didn't want the soup. After expressing how uncomfortable this made me, the manager then tried to talk me into signing the form and having the soup anyway. It was very strange. Ultimately took my rice and cucumber dish and got out of there.

  • I had gluten free fish and chips which were amazing! They give you a lot of food for a great price!

  • Honestly, wish I ate here more often. Went to this place in several different locations in the UK and never had a bad meal or experience at any of them. Much like Albert's, you need to order at the bar if you have a food allergy, or through a QR code if you don't. But unlike Alberts the staff was very friendly, patient and willing to help you. It made eating your meal feel a lot better. To top it all off, the food was great too!
