"Living the French Dream" in Nice

Getting to visit Nice I got to have a sense of pride with my French speaking skills. I haven't taken french in about 9 years since I sat in a class and had to speak French. But it was amazing how much was able to come back to me. Never underestimate the power of your brain or your memory. Time is also an interesting creature. I figured 9 years is easy for all my french speaking skills to go out the window. Turns out, I only lost half the skills in that amount of time.

By the start of the week I was pretty jumbled and slowly figuring it out - but the end of my time in France, I was able to have basic conversations. It inspired me to want to go back to France over and over again and grow those skills. Luckily, both of my sisters took french as well. Girls trip?!
