"I have a fantastic respect for Liverpool the city" Exploring Liverpool

I have been wanting to go to Liverpool and see a Beatles tour since I was in high school. I had the opportunity to go once before, and ended up in the hospital instead (another story for another time). This time visiting the UK, I finally got to see the childhood homes of Ringo, Paul, John and George. This probably sounds really creepy, but it just seems to be widely accepted to go and visit neighborhoods and stalk out places where people are just trying to go about their daily lives.

Strawberry Fields truly does go on forever, Penny Lane was in my ears and eyes, and got to see Eleanor Rigby buried alone with her name.

I also got to see the place where John and Paul met, and got to go to the places where they became rock stars. I also got to check out some museums dedicated to them.

Although the city apparently has the world record for the amount of recording artists coming out of their city, you would never know it as The Beatles dominate everything. It reminded me a bit of Nashville. I really loved Liverpool and thank my middle school and high school chorus teacher for giving me a love for the Beatles.
