"Good food is very often the most simple food" Eating in Leeds
Corn Mill Lodge
My friend Sarah and I checked out this restaurant attached to a hotel and the staff were really kind and accommodating. We really enjoyed our food! We had sweet potato fries, meatballs, soup and roast beef - all gluten free!
Wildcraft Bakery
A 100% gluten free bakery in Leeds which is absolutely fantastic! One of the things I miss from my days before celiac is Dunkin'. Luckily, Wildcraft Bakery has options that not only have amazing options that remind me of those donuts, but cake options and other baked goods that go above and beyond!
Oxford Place
A 100% gluten free restaurant that I really enjoyed. The cheesecake was probably my favorite!
Pieminister
Found this after a tour in Central Leeds and had a really great pie and gravy!
Zaviya
Got to have gluten free pancakes and it was finally like having pancakes from the states!
Heaney and Mill
Make sure to make a reservation before arriving for dinner. There weren't as many options as I was hoping for with dinner, but got to have a really delicious meal!
I went back for breakfast and it was a much better experience!
Whitehall Restaurant & Bar
Everyone knows how much I love getting to have some soup! Getting to have French Onion soup is even more of a treat! Got to also have scallops and seafood risotto which were really fantastic!
Kirkstall Bridge Inn
Got to have a really good pizza at this bar! It's the type of place where it reminds me of Cheers - a place where everybody knows your name.
The Cut and Craft
This restaurant was kind of the equivalent to Ruth Chris in the United States, just not as expensive and a little less dull. I had scallops for an appetizer and a filet mignon. It was really good and they have a full gluten free menu with a lot of options!
