"Edinburgh is so cultural and such a beautiful place to walk around"

  • Historic Tour

    • The historic tours don't go into the deep dive that other cities usually go into, but you get a little bit of everything! Really liked our guide on the tour.

  • Scottish Seabird Centre:

    • We had so much fun as a stop along our roadtrip checking this place out. We didn't really get to see too many birds because, it was freezing and it wasn't first thing in the morning. But it was incredibly picturesque and beautiful. Highly recommend if you have kids especially to stop in their museum.

  • Other things to explore that we didn't get to would be touring the castles, and doing something Harry Potter themed perhaps? I didn't realize until a week before going to Edinburgh that JK Rowling took inspiration from Edinburgh and wrote most of the Harry Potter books there. In addition, if you're into criminology, there seems to be a lot of history in Edinburgh as well.
