Eating in "Venice is like eating an entire box of chocolate liqeurs in one go"

I have to say, there are a lot of restaurants with signs in the windows advertising that they have gluten free options. Unfortunately, we opted for a place approved by AIC (this is an app that Italians can use determine safe places for them to eat if they need to be gluten free) for our dinner. This place was called Tintoretto. The staff didn't seem to be friendly and I did not like the options they had for gluten free food. Every option I chose from the menu there was always a reason I was told by the staff I couldn't have it.

On the other hand, we had a fabulous experience at Harry's Bar. I will warn you, it's incredibly expensive, but worth every single penny. I went to go visit Harry's Bar for my grandfather. Harry's Bar was on his bucket list and I promised him I would go visit and send him photos. Harry's Bar was a place Ernest Hemingway, as well as other authors, actors, poets, etc would frequent. After going in to take a look we realized they had gluten free options! Honestly, it was one of the best meals I've ever had. It was more than just sitting and having lunch, it was an experience. If you have the means, definitely could not recommend enough visiting Harry's Bar. Please look it up as well, the history of is so fun.
