"A city full of life, intense, a port open to the past and future" Exploring Barcelona

  • As I mentioned in my Eating in Barcelona post....First things first - DO THE GLUTEN FREE FOOD TOUR! It's run by Dvir and his husband and Dvir also has celiac. So they have a celiac safe gluten free food tour. It was amazing and I enjoyed every moment of it. Don't walk - RUN to the Gluten Free Food Tour!

  • Free Tour of the Old Town of Barcelona

    • This was probably my favorite tour of the entire trip. I liked my tour guide and felt I got a lot of good information about the city from a local.

  • Barcelona’s Gothic Tour

    • There were a lot of different stops along the way and got some different information but it covers the same neighborhood as the Old Town Tour. Out of the two, I prefer Old Town tour, but you very well could do both and have different experiences.

  • Gaudí, Sagrada Familia & Modernism Free walking Tour

    • I'm not big on architecture, but this was pretty interesting since Gaudi is so different. I wish I did more research ahead of time for these kinds of things. But book your tickets to see inside the Sagrada Familia ahead of time. It was sold out the day I went to see it and I do wish I got to see the inside of the church. I'm not one to keep going into all these different churches since all of them start to look the same, but this one is different and probably worth going inside to see.
